Baked Brie
8 oz. wheel of Brie cheese
1 tablespoon garlic butter
1 tablespoon shaved almonds
Chopped parsley for garnish
Fresh fruit for garnish (apples, pears etc)
Warm French bread
An appetizer which will be greeted with delight and take your guests to seventh heaven
Preparation
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
Place the Brie cheese (removed from all packing materials) on an ovenproof serving platter.
Top the Brie first with the garlic butter, spread evenly, and the shaved almonds.
Place the Brie in the oven for aprox. 10 minutes. The Brie should puff up.
Remove carefully from your oven and place on top of an underliner.
Sprinkle with finely chopped parsley.
Serve the Brie with warm French bread or crackers. Garnish with apple, pear, or citrus. Enjoy!
Wine suggestion:
Any white to taste (palate).
