2022 Piccolomini Lugana
Straw white with greenish reflections in color. On the nose fruity apple, peach and tropical fruits with almond notes in the finish. Good structure with hint of salinity. Among white wines it’s rare in that if properly preserved it can age a few years.
Region: Lugana, Italy
2016 Taurasi Riserva
Elegant and structured with savory aromas of bell pepper, tobacco, cassis, and cedar. Musky berry flavors and firm tannins gives this wine excellent aging potential. In fact aging will have a favorable impact on this wine helping the tannins soften and the fruit profile to emerge.
Region: Campania, Italy
2020 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Cabernet Sauvignon is an expressive variety that thrives in the Alexander Valley. With its warm summer days and cooling Pacific breezes, this appellation produces a wine that is dark and bold, with beautifully balanced acid and tannins. With notes of black cherry and vanilla, this wine pairs well with ribeye steak, cajun-spiced chicken wings, marinated pork or vegetarian chili.
Region: Sonoma County, California
2021 Nittardi Augustus Toscana
Purple-red with a hint of violet color. On the nose, ripe notes of blueberries and blackberries combined with chocolate, vanilla and spices. Beautifully concentrated with grippy yet round tannins and expressive notes of violets, black cherries and liquorice on the palate. Long and full finish where the exciting complexity of the wine shines through. Augustus is a wine a wine that can be enjoyed now but will only show its full potential over the next 10 years.
Region: Tuscany, Italy
